Our Safe Ministry Commitment: CCCM is committed to modelling the love of Christ to all people we have contact with. We are committed to partnering with individuals, parents and families in providing meaningful, welcoming and fun experiences in high quality, safe environments. We want to ensure that when anyone (including children, young people and vulnerable adults) interacts with the ministries and activities of CCCM that they feel safe – physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We encourage anyone with concerns regarding the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person at CCCM, or any other concerns about safety, to contact a member of the Safe Ministry Team by emailing safeministry@cumberlandchurches.org.au
The CCCM Safe Ministry Policy (v4) was adopted on 30 May 2025 and can be downloaded here.
All CCCM members and volunteers are required to complete the CCCM Safe Ministry Screening Questionnaire.
Guest Ministry Declaration online form to be completed by a Senior Church Leader of any guest or short-term volunteer.
One of our unseen but essential costs is annual insurance coverage to ensure that our ministry remains safe, compliant and able to operate with confidence. While the exact annual premium will vary, the burden of underwriting these risks in Australia is real for churches and ministries.
