CCCM seeks to support healthy relationships between local churches and civic bodies such as Cumberland Council, state government representatives, and community organisations. At CCCM we are committed to representing the Christian community with grace and unity. When Cumberland City Council invites Christian ministers to participate in civic meetings and events—such as opening Council meetings in prayer or welcoming new citizens at citizenship ceremonies—we ensure a coordinated and respectful approach. By partnering with the Council in these significant moments, we strive to bring a spirit of hope, encouragement, and prayerful support to our diverse and vibrant community.
While CCCM does not offer formal representation on behalf of all churches, we act as a liaison point, helping to connect civic and community leaders with local pastors, Christian leaders, and ministries who are willing and able to participate in public events, community forums, or consultations.
If you're a civic leader seeking to engage with the local Christian community, please feel free to reach out. We're here to help facilitate respectful and meaningful connections.
If you are a Pastor, Priest or Minister and you would like to receive notifications of opportunities to be involved, please complete this online screening questionnaire.
Disclaimer: CCCM does not speak on behalf of all churches or ministries in the region. We act as a connector, helping link civic organisations with Christian leaders who may wish to participate in public or community matters. All views expressed by individuals connected through CCCM are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of CCCM or its network.
